"There's new research out tonight that provides more evidence of a direct link between hormone replacement and breast cancer. The study from the Women's Health Initiative found that women who take hormones for at least five years after menopause can double their risk of developing the disease. Even taking estrogen or progesterone for as little as two years can increase the cancer risk. But the research also indicates that when the hormone therapy stops, a woman's risk of getting breast cancer can return to normal within just two years." ...
