Fundraising Activities
The Breast Cancer Research Trust relies on community fundraising to enable us to fund our research to find a cure for breast cancer. In a wonderful sign that awareness of The Trust, its work and its goal is growing, there is an increased interest from a wide variety of members of the community supporting breast cancer research through fundraising activities.
There are diverse collections and events run throughout New Zealand by individuals, clubs and businesses who are committed to contributing to The Breast Cancer Research Trust. All donations are welcome, and we are grateful for the hard work that everyone puts in to make these successful events. Below are a small selection of the latest activities that have taken place:

Moselle Panel and Paint • Kumeu Car Show - January 2009

Once again the team at Moselle Panel & Paint took over the Kumeu Car Show and set the standard for the most exciting and striking exhibit. Amongst the many stunning items on display were the Greg Murphy bonnet which had actually been spray painted live at the 2008 show and the 'Trelise Cooper' customised Vespa which had been auctioned off to great success at the Trust's Gala Ball Fire & Ice in September.
Having set the bar high in 2008 the team were once again committed to raise even more money to support the Breast Cancer Research Trust. Lavish food, and drinks were on offer and a generally outstanding party atmosphere were other key elements which drew the crowds again in 2009 and saw the team once again beat the previous years fundraising targets.
The Trust is thrilled to have the support of this enterprising and passionate team. Stay tuned for 2010 and watch some even more exciting Trust projects unfold thanks to this talented bunch of westies!
