On Saturday 11th February 2012 ,The Power Station Gym in Howick hosted a Bubbles and Balloons Challenge.

Ladies arrived in pink galore armed with a sense of humour and a bit of competitive edge to raise money towards the Breast Cancer Research Trust. Over 100 ladies registered and over $2100 was raised.

With an edge of seriousness, and a cheer to good health, challenges were set with games including fork & tennis ball relays, water balloon competitions and tug-o-war. Prizes were given out all day from some very generous sponsors including: Craze Hair; Apothecary Licensed Eatery, Urban Cafe, Pure NZ Water, Super Liquor Howick, Print Zone Howick, Delwyn Jones & Pat Wright for the lovely catering.
